one, 2, three, 4, five, 6 things

I wish I could say I was taking it easy on this lovely Labor Day holiday, but I'm not. I'll be heading off to work for a half day shift. At least I'll be indoors away from the blazing hot sun. Is it fall yet? Don't mind me...I'll be asking that question until the cool fall weather arrives.

About a week or so ago the simply beautiful Evani of Simply Evani tagged me in her 6 questions/things post.  Here are the questions she asked and my answers:
  1. What is the motto/quote that defines your life? - I wouldn't say that it defines my life, but I live by the words, "Everybody is different." I occassionally see people tweet, "If you like/don't like xyz we can't be friends/I don't trust you." I think this is silly. Everybody is different. Friendships would be pretty damn boring if we agreed on everything and all liked the same thing. Also, I've come across people who are completely happy doing xyz and for them that is the life, where as I might think...the life? No way, there's something better than that out there. But for them, that's their dream. So yeah, everybody is different.
  2. Who is the most influential person in your life?
  3. Favorite childhood snack?
  4. What’s your favorite thing to buy that’s under $20? - How in the world am I supposed to choose? There are many things under $20 that are my favorite. If I had to pick one category it'd be food, but don't ask me which food. I don't like to play favorites with food. It's not fair to all the other good foods out there. I am partial to sandwiches though, but you should know that sandwiches is such a broad term for me. Burgers, burritos, calzones...just a few things that I will classify as sandwiches. My mind works in mysterious ways.
  5. What 3 words define your blog?
  6. If you get any college major in the world, what would you choose? - If I could do it all over again I'm not sure I would've gone to college. It's hard to say though. If I did get a do over though I'd choose something like graphic design and photography. Something creative. I have a degree in Business Management...I couldn't tell you much about what I've learned or if I've been able to apply any of it to my current or former jobs.
  7. Where is your favorite place in the world? - My bed. Or where ever I'm at with friends/family and we're having a good time.
  8. If you could break one law with no penalties, what would it be? - I jay walk all the time. I'm a rebel. It's hard to say though...I have days where I just wanna slap random people because of their stupidity or because they're inconsiderate or because they don't appear to bring anything good to society. I wouldn't beat them to a pulp or anything, just a good unexpected backhand to the cheek. It be great if they couldn't retaliate.
  9. What is your favorite day of the year? - All the days that I wake up and get to greet a new day. I guess I might be partial to my birthday too. This year I want a cake. I can't remember the last time someone bought or baked me a cake.
I'm not tagging anyone, but feel free to pick out a couple of questions from below to answer on your blog and leave a comment here letting me know so we can mosey on over and check out your answers. Or you can just answer in the comments below.
  1. If they were going to make a movie about your life, which cartoon character would you want to play you? Don't limit yourself to human characters...maybe you think The Brain would be the perfect person to play you.
  2. All expenses paid trip to anywhere in the world, where would you go?
  3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Would you stay where you are or say good bye?
  4. If you enjoy reading, where is your favorite place to read?
  5. What is the grossest thing you would do for $100? $1000?
  6. What do you want to do for the rest of your life? If you're not doing it already, why aren't you?
  7. If you could change any law, what would it be and why?
  8. If you could only drink one drink for the rest of your life, what would it be?
  9. What is one bad habit you have that you'd like to stop doing? How long have you been doing it?
  10. Will you give me $10 for my 100 Quilts, 100 Kids campaign or at least blog/tweet/facebook about it?
I hope you're having a nice and relaxing Labor Day.

You know, I am not sure I would change a thing about college. OK, probably finishing my chem degree with my english degree would have been nice, but grad school was a blast even though I don't ever want to teach ever again.

I would bake you a cake!! And you really consider a burrito to be a sandwich?!? Lol If they were to make a movie of my life... I feel like I would want Nani from Lilo and Stitch to play me. She's responsible and loves her family. One bad habit I'd love to stop doing is itching eczema. UGH. Thanks for playing along!
