A HUGE thank you to those of you who supported small business on Small Business Saturday, especially to those of you who made a purchase from me. It was a successful weekend. Not only did I make a few sales on Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, but when I got off of work on Monday I had an email waiting for me from Handmade Promenade saying they just about sold out of the fingerless gloves I'd sent along. They'd only been open two days and were down to one pair. *does slow grind through blog post*
Not only does this make me super happy to know that my things are selling well, but it makes me happy to know I've got money to put in the bank for my vacation/moving/emergency/quit my job fund. While I'd love a break from making, I love that I've got orders and things to fill and keep me busy. Now if only I had an endless supply of yarn and time so I could have some extra stuff on hand to send out, get back to blogging regularly and do some reading and relaxing.
Ah well, it is what it is. I'm happy.
