Friday's Letters

The campaign has ended, but you can still donate to 100 Quilts, 100 Kids.

Dear  Gym - I wish you were closer. I also wish I was able to spend more time with you. This couple of times a week just isn't enough for me. I need to see more of you.

Dear Bills - You guys need to work on paying yourselves so I can do other things with my hard earned money. I want to have more fun and do more good. Can you help out with that?

Dear USPS - I dislike you...A LOT. Your policies stink and so does your service. Maybe we need to find an alternative to mailing letters and packages or you need and update. Either way you need some work.

Dear Thai Food - I can't wait for you to be in my belly.

Dear Yarn - Why are you so spendy? Your price jumped twice in a year. That's just crazy. My pockets are not lined with gold.

Dear Stuff - *poof* be gone...damn it, it didn't work. If I didn't need the extra money, you would be in the dumpster right now or in some new strangers house.

Dear Universe - Positive thoughts, good vibes and gratefulness. I haven't expressed what I'm grateful for lately with you. There's been a lot of stress. We need to have a sit down.

Friday's Letters

Spring is on it's way and I want a fresh start.  EVERYTHING in the shoppe is now 50% off with the code SPRING50!.

Dear  Friend - Thank you for that. I truly appreciate it and it was a lovely surprise to find in my inbox/account. It warmed my heart that you thought of me and it brightened my day.

Dear Other Friend - I'm glad that I was able to brighten your day!

Dear Google - Since you are taking away Google Reader, I hope that means you're taking away Google+ too. No one uses it and it pretty much sucks. As a matter of fact, how about you just get rid of that and leave Google Reader.

Dear Grey Granite - Thanks for posting this little vine video of me. It makes me laugh and I can't get enough of it. The way my face changes is hilarious.

Dear Take That Tuesday - Happy 7 Years! I'm so glad to have you. When I finally leave here I will miss you the most.

Dear Stuff - Could you please photograph, edit, list and sell yourself? Pretty please with sugar on top! I'd like to have a clean and clear apartment and a fat back account.

Dear Universe - Let's work together yeah, yeah, yeah! I'm still trying to figure it all out. Positive thoughts and good vibes. We can do this.

Friday's Letters

Spring is on it's way and I want a fresh start.  EVERYTHING in the shoppe is now 50% off with the code SPRING50!.

Dear Orbitz - Thanks for the awesome deal on my flight and hotel. I super appreciate it. I checked you the day before and the day after and I saved $200. I also noticed that you gave me a bigger bed. I know you did that just for me. I love you for it. If I could hug you I would.

Dear Bank Account - We need to get you nice and fat. I want to do a lot more traveling. I want to feel the wind in my hair. And see a ton of new stamps in a new passport.

Dear Stuff - There's too much of you in my apartment. Too much of you that I don't use and is stuck in a box somewhere. I think it's time for you to go. Plus it'll help the Bank Account get nice and fat. It's okay to say good bye. We had some good times together. I'll miss you, but I won't. *hugs*

Dear Spring - Please come quickly. I'm ready for adventures outside. Dancing walks along the Monon, bike rides and we've got the whole 100 acre behind the IMA to explore. We all thank you for your cooperation.

Dear Dude at Starbucks - You are gross. That was not cool crop dusting us while we were chatting away having a good time. I saw the smile on your face when you got up to go to the bathroom. What the heck did you eat?

Dear Universe - Love and light and positive thoughts. I'm putting them out there to you. I've got a situation and feeling that I'm trying to shake. Send me back the same love and live and positivity okay?

Dear Friends - It's adventure time. And do you guys know how awesome you are? Well...you are.

Friday's Letters

check out my craft supplies on eBay. one person's craft trash is another's treasure!
Wake up, wake up, it's the first of the month...which means it's time for new goals and a recap of old goals, so go check out my last post to see what we've got going on over here.

Dear Universe - Thank you. Sometimes I forget to remember to thank you for all the good and wonderful that you put out into the world. So thank you. Thank you for loving friends, a job, a roof over my head, warmth, kindness from friends and strangers, smiles and all that other happy stuff. Thank you.

Dear California - I'm very ready to see you and Rima and Evani and Gaby and my other friends out on the left coast too. One more month and I'll be there. I'm ready for good food and good fun and some warm sun. *dance all excitedly in my chair in a happy manner*

Dear Subconcious - Um...what's up with that dream from the other day? I mean, yeah, I liked hugging him in my dream and it was awesome, but what was that other stuff? I made a recording and we were gonna put it in a song? Weird. You can have him come through more of my dreams though. Go ahead and show me our future so I know what I'm looking forward to.

Dear Fried Chicken - Get in my belly. It's been a whole month since I haven't had any meat. It is time, please don't disappoint.

Dear Happiness & Laughter - I'm glad that you live here. I enjoy having you in my life and that you make frequent visits. You make my days so much better. If there was a way I could hug you tight I would.

Dear Sweet Tooth - Go away. That is all.

Friday's Letters

Don't forget to check out the sale I'm having on all the crocheted goodies in my shop. All hats, cowls and fingerless gloves are 25% off with the code FUZZY. This includes custom items.

Yowza, three posts in one day. I guess I have a lot to say today. It's the first of the month, make sure you check out my post about February goals and my January recap.

Dear Universe: Life is good. I have a roof over my head, food in my belly and clothes on my back. I could use your help though. I could use some time well spent with friends and some financial gain (etsy sales, eBay sales, something). Please help. I'll even take winning a giveaway or two that I could use towards earning some extra cash money.

Dear Ellen: I'd really love to see you in April when I'm in California. You always make me laugh and sometimes cry (happy tears). Whenever I need to smile or laugh I watch your show or clips on YouTube. You are wonderful and kind and an inspiration with all the good that you do. There needs to be more people in the world like you.

Dear Vegetarians: I will be eating vegetarian all month long, what are some good and easy recipes for me to try out that you love? I have a few go to things I like to eat, but I want to try some new things.

Dear New Followers: Hi! I don't know what else to say. I hope you enjoy your time here and that I can keep you entertained or teach you something or whatever.  I try to respond back to comments, but sometimes I let them sit in my inbox so long that I feel bad when two weeks have past and I still haven't responded and end up deleting the email. I DO read them all though and appreciate that you take the time to commnet.

Dear ScruffyNerdy: That crush on you...it's back. *deep heavy sigh* I wish you were still here so that I could smoosh your face. I would totally date you long distance if you were interested, but I know you're not. Oh well. You should be my valentine anyway. Or my anti-valentine. It's whatever.

Dear Indiana Weather: Make a decision, be unseasonably warm or be winter cold. You're playing with my emotions. I don't mind the cold, but stay cold. I wouldn't mind some more snow too. Lots of big flaky snow.

Dear Body: I hope you're ready for this month. No meat for you and we're going to be doing the Fab Ab Challenge. Time to put in some work. I might start waking you up early again to go walking/running. Let's get healthy.

Create something that will make the world awesome. - Kid President

Friday's Letters

Don't forget to check out the sale I'm having on all the crocheted goodies in my shop. All hats, cowls and fingerless gloves are 25% off this weekend with the code FUZZY. This includes custom items.

Dear Universe: We haven't really talked in awhile. I think we need to do that. I've got some plans and I need your support. Let's talk, over cocoa or tea maybe? You just let me know okay.

Dear Throat: Please stop being so dry. I can only drink so much water and suck on so many Ricolas. And continually eating is not gonna happen.

Dear Phone Charger: I plugged my phone in at 11, by 4 you should've BEEN charged. What's up with that? Don't be that way. You're lucky I was just headed to the grocery store.

Dear Unhappy People: Are you doing these things? You are? Well stop it. You don't have to be unhappy. You make a choice every day to be happy or not. Why would you choose to be unhappy. Also, check out number two specifically.

Dear Homemade Pizza Dough: I love you. You are so delicious. I need to just make batches and batches of you to keep on hand in my freezer for whenever I want to make pizza. Let's be friends forever.

Dear Stamp Sets: I need for ALL of you to get sold. Even if only at the minimum bid. I need you out of my apartment and the money in my account. You need a loving home and this ain't it.

5AT and Friday's Letters and what I...

Today's post is a 3 in 1. I thought about breaking it up into 3 separate posts, but that seemed like a lot of extra work and since today is my birthday I didn't feel like any extra work. So make sure you read it all the way to the end.

love - my tattoos Keiko and Stella. they make me feel more comfortable in my own skin.

wish -that I had some extra money to treat myself today. It's kind of a bummer when you have to watch your pennies on your birthday.

know - that when I think life is the pits, that there are people who have it worse off than I do. I've got people who care about me, a roof over my head, clothes on my back and food in my belly. in the grand scheme of things, life is far from the pits.

appreciate - that people are patient with me. I can be a procrastinator sometimes. I don't know that I'd put up with some of my own antics.

want - to eat lots of good food today: a juicy burger, some fried chicken, a cupcake or two, sushi and some cheesecake.

Come link up.

  • my birthday - it's my BIRTHDAY! as of 1:43 AM I am officially 33 years old. Woo! not sure how I'll be spending my day just yet. I really want to eat some good food and buy myself a new pair of shoes. I'm not sure that will happen though.
  • stick and balls - the hole in my ceiling is FINALLY fixed. I don't have to be creeped out by it anymore. a friend of mine said it kinda looks like a misshapen pecker and balls. I can see it. it's been painted over as well. you can still totally see where they fixed it. oh well, I don't really spend much time staring at the living room ceiling.
  • birthday rewards - it's kind of a pain to get all the emails from rewards cards and what not that you sign up for, but the birthday rewards are worth it (the other coupons too). so far I've partaken in a free lottery ticket and $10 off of $10 at Godiva. I paid $1.07 for 3 fancy chocolates and one of their fancy frozen chocolate drinks. awwwww yeaaah! I have a few more I plan to partake in soon.
  • passengers who handle business - the other day I was catching the bus home and the bus driver was being nice and let a drunk man on the bus even though he didn't have payment...but, he wouldn't move passed the yellow line and/or sit down, so he was holding up the bus from moving. the rest of the bus yelled at him to move and he finally did. then he got nasty with a gentleman in a wheelchair and they got to arguing. the bus driver tried to get in between them to stop them before the drunk guy got his shit handed to him by the man in a wheelchair. then a few passengers snatched the drunk guy by the pack of his shirt and tossed him off the bus. they didn't want any trouble for the bus driver.
  • weekend off - I've worked the last 3 weekends. I'm normally off every other weekend so this weekend is a welcome break. I actually requested Saturday off since I wasn't sure how I'd be spending my birthday.

I'm linking up with From My Grey Desk's H54F (high five for Friday).

Dear Tummy: Thanks for finally stopping with the weird aching pain and not making me have to go to the hospital. While I'd like to know what your problem was, I'm glad you're better.
Dear Chub: We can't be friends anymore. We never really were friends, I just put up with you. You should go, the sooner, the better. You should've never come here, so just go okay.
Dear ScruffyNerdy: I miss our late night Twitter arguments or whatever. They always gave me a good chuckle.
Dear Weather: Nice and sunny on Wednesday and Thursday and then raining on my birthday and my weekend off. What is your problem? Come on, that's just down right rude.
Dear You: I wish we were spending the weekend together. I could use some good cuddling. I'm still patiently waiting for you to find me.

Friday's Letters

Dear Target - Thank you for selling the Magnum ice cream bars for $3.04 a box. Marsh and Kroger are crazy thinking that I'll buy them for $7.00 for the same box. While they are delicious and I could eat the entire box in one day, I still like to save my money and would never pay that much for something I know I can get cheaper.

Dear Magnum Ice Cream Bars - Thank you for coming across the ocean to the US. I don't know what I'd do without your deliciousness. Please make a caramel and almond option together. I would love you that much more.

Dear Turkey Chicken Chili - It's gonna be me and you all weekend long. Get in my belly.

Dear Boxes and Stuff - Could you please pack, label and stack yourselves. You'd be making my life so much easier. Also, make sure there isn't anything I don't need to move to a new apartment in those boxes. Let's let go of some things that we don't really need. mmmkay?

Dear Universe - I don't think we've been talking much lately. I'm sorry. I still love you. Let's make some things happen together this week.

Dear Future Husband - Let's build forts together in the living room on rainy days. We can sit and read together and watch cartoons and cuddle in a pile of pillows and blankets. Also, I want a cat and a dog. Can you dig it?

Friday's Letters - I can't think of anything witty to put here

Dear Colder Temps - You think you're gonna stop me from putting on my shoes in the morning to go running, but you're not. Nice try though. While I love my nice warm bed, I also love the feeling I get from getting in a good work out. So there.

Dear Birchbox - Thanks, but no thanks. You really didn't have to send me that key chain for being a loyal subscriber. I do appreciate the coupon code though and plan to use it. I just wish you would've asked me if I wanted the key chain. You could have saved yourself a key chain, packaging and shipping. It's so wasteful.  I'm sure it was some kind of marketing thing, but instead of me thinking you guys are great, I'm just really irritated.

Dear Interwebs - I'm so enjoying learning how to do new things in PhotoShop. If it weren't for you'd I'd never find all these fun tutorials. Who needs to pay for school when I can find all sorts of handy information on the interwebs?

Dear Friends - My birthday is coming up. I'm just saying. Here's my birthday wish list. Or you can make a contribution to my moving fund or send folks over to the issa.ino: handmade shop. Or slip a few lottery scratchers in my bra. I could go for a good brunch, lunch and dinner too. Anything and everything is very much appreciated.

Dear Coworkers - It's me and all you boys for the next week and half. We can laugh and joke and talk about balls and farts, but if you guys pee on the floor or the seat and don't clean it up...I'ma be shitty. I ain't anyone's mama. Yet.

Dear Sweet Tooth and Cravings - Can you knock it off already? I'm trying to do something here. You're not helping. We can have a relationship, but not like this. Y'alls need to pump your breaks if you want to work out. mmmkay?

Dear Other Blog - I know I've been in a funk about posting on you. I'll be back...eventually.

Friday's Letters - doing a new thing

Changing it up today. I normally do High 5 for Friday (H54F) with From My Grey Desk, but decided I wanted to give Friday Letters with Adventures of Newlyweds a go.

Dear Days Off - Do you have to end so soon? Let's get crafty together and make the most of what we've got left okay?

Dear Strangers - Just because you've seen me on the bus a few times doesn't mean you should ask me if I still work at a particular place. I don't know you, do you realize how creepy stalkerish that sounds? Creeper. Also, I don't care that you like my tattoos, you can't even see what they really are from that far away. Go away. Lastly, thanks for coughing on the side of my face with your smokey disgusting breath.

Dear Sneakers - It was good to put you on again this morning for the first time since the 5k. It sucks that you're still dusty from the color, but I suppose that will all eventually go away right? Please say yes.

Dear Future Husband - Have we met yet? If not, will it be soon? I'm waiting for you. But no rush if you're not ready.

Dear Leasing Office - I called on Wednesday to see about coming in on Friday to see a 1 bedroom and you said okay. When I walked through the rain and cold to the office you said there was nothing available for 60 days. I bet you knew that when I called or that you had only a few left. Why couldn't you tell me that?

Dear Rain - Thanks for stopping as soon as my errands were all done and I got back home. What's up with that? It's cool though. Walking around in the rain makes you stronger.

Dear Universe -  Do you want me to hold off on finding a new place? Do you have some other plans for me? That's cool if that's the case. I kinda hope not. Gimme a sign.

Dear People Looking for a fun Bear Hat - This bear hat is perfect for you. You should buy it. I will love you long time. You can also use it as part of a halloween costume.
