a recipe and nom, nom, nom - let's eat vol. 12a

Photobucket

First off I'm sharing a recipe that I think is DEE-licious and then some foodie goodness that I've found on the interwebs that I'd love to eat. I've tried the taco cupcakes and pull apart bread. Yum!

I've never really been a fan of watermelon. Not that I hate it, but it's sort of take it or leave it for me. Then I started making smoothies and juices and friends of mine were posting watermelon lemonade and adding it to their juices so I thought I'd give it a try. This is super simple and you don't even need a juicer. A blender works fine.

Ingredients:
  • 3 cups of watermelon
  • half a lime
Throw cut up watermelon (make sure you've taken out the seeds OR buy a seedless watermelon) in the blender and blend, then squeeze in the lime. Pour in a nice glass jar and enjoy. Simple as that.

I'm not sure what happens to the meat of the watermelon, there's no pulp. It all just disappears. I like this because there's no added sugar. I think next I will try to make watermelon lemonade.

these tacos and vegan too. i'm so hungry right now.
i have a major sweet tooth, these would be perfect to satisfy that.

chocolate for breakfast? yes please and thank you

I like bite size foods and cupcakes and tacos too. how perfect are these.

I always see recipes for pull apart bread, but have yet to try one. this one looks nice and easy though.

I need to visit this spot in Atlanta so I can try one of these tasty treats.

I love watermelon! I eat approximately 1 every 2 days during the summer when they're on sale. (Yes, 1/2 of one a day!) I'll have to try this juice. I've made something similar with rum in it but I'll have to nix the rum for a morning juice!
