keeping in tradition - dear universe

Today's post WAS gonna be about my adventures at Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure, but I'm not ready yet. I want to keep those memories to myself a little bit longer. It was just so much fun. Also, I'm waiting on a package with some of my Disney stuff in it. Yeah...I kinda ended up with more stuff than I brought and needed it have some stuff shipped back to me.

(Side note: Why must it cost so much to ship things from California/the west coast to Indiana/the midwest. Ugh!)

Anywho...so I decided I need to keep in tradition with Rima and Gaby and spend my birthday at Disney and have Slater's 50/50 for my birthday so I'm planning a trip BACK to California in October (I have to remember to change my ticker back). I love California THAT much. And I have some awesome friends out there that I'd love to hang out with again.

I tweeted and posted on facebook to the Universe that I'd need some help with funding this trip. I'm selling some of my craft stash and other things to help get me back to California and clean out my apartment as well. I created a for sale page here on my blog and have been posting items for sale on my instagram and a couple of other places. I just need the Universe to send me some buyers. Come on buyers!!! I got all sorts of goodies.

Also, Mother's Day is right around the corner, so I'm back in card making mode. My goal is to make and sell 100+ Mother's Day cards. I think I sold about 65 - 70 last year, so 100+ should be easy peasy. Everyone has a mother or a mother in law or a sister in law that's a mother or an aunt that was like a mother to them or a grandmother that raised them or a best friend that's a new mother, so the potential to do more than 100 card sales is there. I had several customers last year buy two or three cards. My goal is possible.

Above is a just s sample of the cards I've made in the past. I do my best to make all the cards unique. I might remake a card in the same design, but I change up the papers and colors. If you're interested in a handmade Mother's Day card (and you should be) email me or leave me a comment with your email in it so I can contact you. I love customizing cards.

All cards are $6.00 each plus $1.95 for shipping to YOU. If you don't live in the same city/state as the recipient I will gladly mail the card directly to recipient for $1.00. You just let me know what you'd like the message inside to say and off it'll go.

So yeah, I'm selling my stuff and headed back to Cali. Buy a handmade Mother's Day card and support a small business. I'll love you long time.
