Now That's What I Call a Birthday Celebration

Had a great weekend this past weekend w/ AB and friends. We celebrated AB's birthday all weekend long.

Friday began with manicures and pedicures. I'm really not a fan of painted fingers but went with it anyway. They didn't last long though as I picked off the final chips of paint Tuesday evening. After pampering we mosied on over to Abuelo's w/ her cousin TT for a late lunch. Lunch was fabulous, but we already knew it would be. We topped off our night at Radio Radio for Soul Session 3.1A hosted by Old Soul Entertainment. Two of AB's college buddies came down for the weekend and proceeded to show AB a good time by keeping the drinks flowing. One of the owners of Old Soul also helped out and bit and made sure we had a good time. I have to say it was quite hilarious to hear every so often, "My lips are numb." We all definitely enjoyed ourselves. Afterwards we hit up IHOP where upon entrance they told us the new cook was awful, we sat and waited anyway. After about 45 minutes and still no one had come to take our order we decided maybe Steak n' Shake would be a better place to eat.
The party continued Saturday with lunch at Bahama Breeze. The waiter was a bit odd, but we still had a great time. Good food and all. We took the out of towners downtown to see the mall w/ the hotels connected to it. LOL. Then it was home for some rest so that we could get ready for another night on the town. We went downtown to Ice Ultra Lounge were our favorited DJ just happened to be spinning vinyl...okay so we knew that's where he'd be. Enjoyed the music and then hit up Popeye's for late night snack.

Sunday was pretty tame. We grilled some goodies over at AB's and relaxed the rest of the day. I think we all had a great time and I can only wish that we could get together and do it more than once a year. I'd say let's do it once a month, but partying like a rockstar is hard work.
